| Private Water Taxi - ( 15 mins from the airport ) : very fast, luxurious and a wonderful way to see Venice for the first time.
Give the driver full address as above. We recommend you book the return journey,if you so wish, at the same time as you book your outward trip.This can be done at the Venetia Motoscafi office in the airport terminal. |
| Road Taxi - ( 45 minutes from the airport ) : the next speediest method. Take a taxi from outside the airport. You will be driven to the Pizzale Roma. From there find the vaporetto (water bus) stop to Zitelle make sure you get on an 82 going in the right direction that terminates at San Zaccaria. The road taxi should cost you approximately 30 Euros. |
| Blue Airport Bus number 35 - ( 1 hour from the airport ) : ATVO stop outside the airport terminal. Buy ticket from machine for 3 Euros. This will take you to Piazzale Roma where you will pick up the vaporetto to Zitelle as above. |
| From Treviso airport - ( approx 1 ½ hours from the airport ) : A bus ticket can be bought from the arrivals hall. This will take you to Piazzale Roma. Then find vaporetto as above. |
| From Santa Lucia Railway Station - ( 20 minutes from the airport ) : catch the vaporetto from the Ferrovia ,stop outside the station to Zitelle terminating at San Zaccaria. Once you have disembarked from the Zitelle stop you will find Calle Michaelangelo almost
in front of you. Walk to the opposite end of the Calle & opposite the Biblioteque you will
see the main door to Giudecca Mare. |
